I think it’s really sketchy when the extent/focus of your disabled/neurodivergent activism is calling out people for using terms like dumb, stupid, or crazy (all of which I can claim, btw)

Plus there’s a different weight carried between the terms psychotic/psycho, sch*zo and insane versus… Ya know the above examples. I think context depends too. Someone calling me insane because of my psychosis is different from someone saying “that’s insane!!” to something awesome. A lot of inherent discussion of ableism in english needs to differentiate slang from ableist social bias
