I dont know if it’s ‘undoing’ the original trilogy, but I do think it is a poor choice to not have them be together for TFA. That is a good point. But I like the idea of Han dying. I think it would have been possible to have the three of them be together for a final time in TFA, and have us be sad over their separation, yet hopeful for the new trilogy’s characters.
