• Right before the movie came out all of the edits were the character posters. ALL OF THEM
• The “Great” Ship War between the Enjolras/Grantaire fans and the Enjolras/Eponine fans was the wildest thing to ever happen. 
• Also Eponine/Combeferre was a pretty common ship
• There was some really weird stuff with Azelma/Grantaire in the Eponine/Enjolras fics or sometimes Azelma/Feuilly. It was weird
• A LOT of fics made Cosette seem like a raging bitch to Eponine
• Also a lot of making Marius seem like a complete idiot who didn’t realize how terrible Cosette was and who led Eponine on
• Before Courfeyrac/Combeferre there was a lot of Courfeyrac/Jehan which still holds a special place in my heart
• Montparnasse was almost always Eponine’s abusive ex-boyfriend
• More High School AUs than College AUs
• Even though it isn’t explicitly stated, almost all the AUs take place in the US. American High School system/culture
• A lot of AUs where Valjean and Fantine raised Cosette together
