totally non-ironic here, one of my favorite things in les mis AUs is when people try to make the actual historical figures fit into the scenario. lamarque is now a cool math teacher. louis-philippe is the lousy assistant manager of the coffee shop who gets a promotion when charles is fired for misconduct. Lafayette is a retired former space pirate who might help the gang OR NOT. it’s fun and i get to imagine their expressions if they ever read it, A+.
