we see tony’s erratic behaviour become An Issue, but ALSO we see all of the quiet moments that show us that all this shit he’s doing is just an act and it’s explicitly acknowledged by the narrative that how he’s acting in im2 is Weird And Not Normal For Him like the movie itself at no point goes “wow yeah tony’s an asshole and that’s just how he is” his friends are CONCERNED AND FRUSTRATED AND EMOTIONALLY DRAINED and i actually kind of loved how they handled a lot of it?
