what the hell was that? I mean, if Darth Vader is Luke’s father then why did they do so much hinting that Obi Wan killed Anakin? What happened to that whole thing about Anakin being a Jedi who Darth Vader killed? I mean, Obi Wan literally tells Luke that Darth Vader killed Anakin but I guess the Empire screenwriters didn’t even watch Star Wars, or else they wouldn’t have written this movie about how Darth Vader is the real hero!! I guess that’s what happens when you swap out screenwriters for part 2 of a trilogy lmao. It’s clear Lucas had a plan for an amazing movie and Kasdan and Brackett just threw it out the window. No wonder Harrison clearly hated this movie. Good thing Lucas is coming back for Part III, lmao, he must have been watching Empire like “what the hell were they thinking? putting Han in carbonite? I’m gonna have to spend so much of Part III just fixing this!” I mean, we have time to cup open a tauntaun onscreen but we don’t have time to explain Boba Fett’s backstory?
