you all aren’t understanding! I get it, enjolras was head of les amis and he went against the government but lawful doesn’t mean compliant or submissive, it means rightful . Enjolras has, next to javert, one of the strongest moral codes in les mis. He made his own rules, verbally or not, and followed them. Undisputed, grantaire is chaotic, neutral or good or whatever. Think about it- does enjolras really have the same chaotic element as him??

Enjolras is lawful to his OWN set of rules. To them he is unwavering and predictable. If you think lawful only means following the rules of a government thats a narrow view of it. Kyle is right. Enjolras is lawful good.
