i think modern medicine is great 10/10 would recommend but i feel like we need to draw the line at some point like not to sound like a luddite but…..whole head transplants……..that shit is terrifying like can you imagine what this will mean for the future? i see poor/homeless/incarcerated people w healthy bodies being trafficked and killed to allow rich ppl to live indefinitely im not even being Dramatic look at what the doctor experimenting head transplants said about it:

Is that not the most disturbing shit you’ve ever heard? This man sounds like a real life evil scientist. I understand the possibilities this creates for people w terminal illness but like………this is honestly too much.

Honestly it really is terrifying considering how many fictional and real events we’ve already had showing us how desastrous science without limits can be (the Atomic Bomb for rl and Brave New World or the Physicians for fiction). It also completely disregards the fact that science is nothing without ethics, that even if we can it doesn’t mean we should and that nothing exists in a vacuum. Everything has consequences and it is also sciences and scientists duty to consider these consequences.
