The Amazons’ New Clothes

I love cherry picking one behind the scenes photo, and not explaining the narrative reason for the change in costumes. For the people who don’t know there is a scene in Justice League set thousands of years before the first Wonder Woman movie, where the amazons, the atlantians and humans fight an alien invasion! This is pre Diana’s birth and before the amazons went to themyscira! While I don’t love the costumes it’s showing how they have changed and evolved over the centuries. So for all the people in the comments saying that it’s such a downgrade, that’s literally the point. Here is another behind the scenes picture which shows other amazonians in similar leather armour, but more covered.

And there are literally scenes with the amazons in the present where they are wearing the same type of armour that they wore in Wonder Woman

Not to mention there was similar clothing in the Wonder Woman movie if you paid attention to the surroundings while on themyscira.
